Description

This carpet is hand-knotted in Iran. The style of this carpet is traditional and is called baluch. It is high quality very stable and soft.

It is well known that Baluchi rugs are woven by Baluchi nomads in North Khorasan, especially around the cities of Torbat Heydariyeh, Kashmar, Torbat Jam, and Sarakhs. Additionally, there are a few cases in the southern regions and Sistan Baluchestan. Meanwhile, the cities of Torbat-e Jam and Torbat-e Heydarieh have maintained their reputation and position as the largest centers for the production of Baluch carpets for many years.

Turkmen culture greatly influences the decoration of these carpets, evident in various forms such as the use of dark red and dark blue colors, resulting in geometric and regular designs such as rhombuses, octagons, and hooks.

The colors of Baluchi carpets are typically natural and often include dark shades, particularly black, dark red, brown, and light red forms. These are sometimes referred to as "Siyahkar" in local dialects.

Regarding general product conditions, the rugs are handmade, so they may have small flaws such as asymmetry. Old rugs may have undergone slight color changes, as depicted in the pictures. Due to their age, the height of the rug's pile may vary in different areas, which is a natural occurrence. All rugs are professionally washed and individually inspected before leaving the warehouse. Efforts are made to display the most accurate images, although there may be slight differences in colors between the actual product and what is seen on the screen due to device characteristics.
