Silk and wool carpet

Silk carpets were originally woven in Kashan about 400 years ago, but now they are woven in Qom, Zanjan, Maragheh, Tabriz, and Sardrud , each city has its own characteristics. Up to 50 different colors of silk are sometimes used in a carpet. The number of knots per square centimeter in these carpets is from 50 knots to 80 knots.
