Gabbeh
Gabbeh Rug -these rugs are woven in central Iran. City Shiraz is the center of buying and selling these type of carpets. It was originally woven by nomadic tribes for personal use. The nomads used these carpets as a cover for the body against the coldness. The lint of gabbeh is long, that makes it thick and relatively heavy.
